Iran is willing to reinitiate nuclear discussions with the United States provided that it is approached with "dignity" and "respect", Tehran's top diplomat has announced.

The Iranian diplomat declared only diplomacy produced results, and shared fresh requests had been made by intermediaries to resume discussions with the Trump administration. He claimed Iran possessed no secret atomic facilities, and Tehran was not yet able to authorize the global atomic watchdog to inspect bombed nuclear sites for protective measures.

Walking a Challenging Path

The prior phases of negotiations between the US and Iran were concluded unexpectedly and hostile termination on 12 June when the Israeli government, with Washington's assistance, attacked Tehran's atomic facilities in a fortnight-long engagement that concluded with the American leader asserting the locations had been destroyed. Subsequently, European countries employed their authority to reinstate international penalties, but Iran insists they have not had a significant effect.

Iran's diplomats stated they felt they had attained a "magic solution" to the nuclear fuel concern in prior discussions, when it was settled an domestic cooperative with American involvement could process nuclear material.
